About the Festival

Presented by Sonare Music Academy, the 2027 Sonare Chopin Festival will celebrate the timeless music of Frédéric Chopin through four days of performances, March 4–7, 2027.

Building on Beethoven 32

The festival builds upon the success of Beethoven 32, a week-long concert series presented by Sonare Music Academy in 2026. Conceived and directed by Dr. Hwa-Jin Kim, this monumental project brought together 32 pianists, including Dr. Kim, to perform Beethoven’s complete cycle of 32 piano sonatas.

What Your Gift Will Support

Your contribution will help Sonare Music Academy present the Chopin Festival by supporting performer fees, artistic direction and project management, venue and production expenses, piano preparation and tuning, marketing, and other essential festival costs.

Dr. Hwa-Jin Kim is the founder and artistic director of Sonare Music Academy. A concert pianist and music educator with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree and more than 35 years of teaching and performance experience, she is dedicated to bringing artists and audiences together through music.

Every Gift Makes a Difference
