Sonder Space looks forward to presenting 3x3x3, an evening of music and dance featuring the collaborative work of 3 dancers, 3 musicians, and 3 choreographers. This performance explores the theme of memory. What that means to each of us as individuals, and how it impacts us as a collective. Each choreographer is interpreting the theme in a collaborative effort with both the dancers and musicians to create 3 separate yet intertwined vignettes that we hope will transport the audience to a place of reminiscence and reflection.

We are particularly excited to have secured Christ Church Neighborhood House in historic Old City as the venue for our performances, to take place on February 6th and 7th, 2026. Embedded in one of the most culturally significant neighborhoods in Philly, the theater is a wonderfully intimate space that lends itself perfectly to a magical evening of performance art. We have yet to perform in Old City, and are excited to hopefully tap into the local community and encourage art lovers to come out and see the show.

The Sonder Space is a visual and performing arts project providing a platform for emerging and accomplished artists to present their work with maximum creative freedom. The aim of this project is to organize and produce live performances that will highlight the creative talents of the artists involved while investigating themes that are central to the human experience. When searching for a name for this project, we stumbled upon the word “sonder”, which means, “the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own.” With that in mind, a priority of this dance based project is to collaborate with other mediums of art to further connect our communities and spread creativity.
