Tier5 is currently celebrating its TENTH YEAR of producing theatre, and we are calling on our patrons and supporters to help us make this the most fun summer ever- by supporting the rest of our 2026 season with a contribution!
We’ve already had incredible start: In March, we presented our very first pop-up production, William Shakespeare’s ROMEO & JULIET. For this pop-up production, we tasked our cast and creatives to put together an entire production in just ONE WEEK of rehearsals. The pop-up was a smash hit, selling out both nights that we had to add additional seats!
In April, we continued our 2026 season with William Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT, the final chapter of our ShakesQueer comedy trilogy. The pop-infused musical comedy was an acclaimed hit: @thetheatrebabe raved “[Twelfth Night] was phenomenal. Wow.”

Next up, we are presenting another pop-up production. Just in time for Pride month, we’re taking on Jane Austen’s iconic enemies-to-lovers romance, Pride & Prejudice. Once again our cast and creatives will be tasked with bringing this Regency love story to life in just ONE WEEK.
We can’t say too much, but… Tier5 is hoping to close out 2026 by bringing back two fan favorites: the third addition of our new play festival that’ll send a SPOOKY shiver down your spine, and a brand new production of a Tier5 holiday classic.
The only way we can make these productions happen, though, is with your help. Creating theatre in the current landscape is EXPENSIVE.
Even when we sell out productions, ticket sales are only able to cover a portion of the expenses it takes to mount these endeavors.
To put into perspective:
A Tier5 staged reading can cost between $600- $1,000.
A Tier5 pop-up production can cost between $2,000- $4,000.
A Tier5 MainStage production can cost between $10,000- $15,000.

OUR GOAL & MISSON
For Tier5 in 2026, we are looking to raise $10,000 before the end of summer in order to guarantee we can move forward with our plans for the remaining 2026 season: making sure we feel financially secure and ready to continue creating exceptional and boundary pushing art that reframes classical texts, tropes, and moments in history, and places those previously excluded from the narrative front and center.
What this fundraiser will help cover:
Stipends for our actors, creatives, designers, and talent.It's vitally important to us at Tier5 to compensate all for their time.
Theatre and rehearsal space rental. Having a theatre to perform in and a space big enough to rehearsal our main stage productions is an absolutely necessity.
Insurance coverage. One of the less glamorous parts of the process, but making sure we're insured to create a safe place for our teams is a must!
Printing. From scripts, to posters, to programs- it all adds up.
Filling out our costume, props, scenic, and lighting budgets. Help us make the visions of designers dream up come to life exactly how they want them to!!
Any other bits and bobs that come along, because they ALWAYS come along.
