We celebrate the Black Women in our SLMDances Collective and Community. We delight in Black Women experiencing joy and pleasure. We protect Black Women doing mundane, everyday things like cooking and napping. We bless Black Women Excellence and Black Girl Magic. We thank Black Women for cultivating communities and organizing for our pastpresentfuture selves to thrive.

Pay homage to the herstory of Black Women and Femmes with your coin.
Our first fundraising campaign of 2021 aims to raise $5K to support the long-term creative process of the Black femmes in our collective in two primary ways:
Sustain the development of PURPLE which engages a multi-generational performance cast and engagement with elders in the Amsterdam Houses community
Grow our budget toward thriving wages for our Creative Partners

We invite you to give to SLMDances AND to support the Black women who have made our work possible.
