MusicUseIt is a forward-thinking arts presenter and producer, founded in 2014 by composer and interdisciplinary artist Tariq Al-Sabir. The organization creates immersive, interactive, and interdisciplinary experiences through pioneering new works. Since its founding, Musicuseit has delivered innovative programming across Baltimore, Washington D.C., and New York City—bringing experimental and educational art to schools, churches, museums, parks, outdoor festivals, cultural centers, and public spaces, often at low or no cost to participants.
With a strong commitment to accessibility and equity, Musicuseit centers underrepresented voices and communities while fostering deep artistic engagement. The organization has collaborated with institutions such as TED, the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, The Phillips Collection, The Shed, The Kennedy Center, and Lincoln Center to present dynamic artists and groundbreaking work to broad audiences.
