Our team is seeking to create a short 20-minute film based on a one-act play staged at actor Tom Noonan's Paradise Factory theater in New York City in June 2025, where it received rave reviews. The film will involve actors and crew from Paradise Factory (paradisefactory.org) and will take approximately three days to shoot and several weeks to edit, mix, and color correct. We hope to screen the film in festivals and at our theater as a fundraiser for Paradise Factory.

The film is titled That Picture of You. And the tag line reads, "A world-renowned photographer. His former student. Their illicit past. And the incident that threatens to ruin them both." It is a taut drama about power dynamics, responsibility, and the use and misuse of art. One person’s post-#MeToo apocalypse is another’s window of opportunity. That Picture of You is a wicked, unsparing look at life on the edge of artistic ethos vs. personal responsibility.

A theater kid originally from Houston, Katie Moore (actor) moved to New York nine years ago for a successful modeling career. She is internationally known for her print and runway work, including opening for Alexander Wang and walking for Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, and numerous other brands. She is now finally returning to her first love: acting. The process of putting up That Picture of You at Paradise Factory was one of the most gratifying and artistically humbling experiences of her life, and she can’t wait to translate it to the screen.
