The Accumulation of Acts continues our ongoing practice of welcoming a larger audience for the arts through cost-accessibility, with all events free to the public. Because there will be no tickets sales, we need your help to fund this project. Even with Andrea and Daniel donating all of their time and creative powers, the cost to bring
The Accumulation of Acts to fruition is over $9000. So, please consider donating to support the creation and presentation of this one-of-a-kind installation and performance event.

The exhibit includes
One Square Foot, a multi-media work featuring interviews of Milwaukeeans reflecting on places that hold significance for them, and of dances, based on these interviews, performed throughout the city. This work features video projected on multiple panels in an immersive, living room-style setting.
In 1x1, Andrea and Daniel inhabit two 6'x6' modular platforms, on which they build, alter, and demolish their world- exploring their ever changing relationship to the space, and thereby each other. Behind the performers a video of driving the perimeter of Milwaukee is projected, and below the performers is a handmade river symbolic of the three rivers and the highways that have long divided Milwaukee's neighborhoods.
Over the course of this exhibit 8 site-specific dance performances will take place in locations throughout Milwaukee, bringing the project back to the neighborhoods where research for the project was gathered.
This installation was inspired by historical research, interviews with Milwaukeeans, investigation of sites throughout the city, and personal reflections on home and place.
