The Actual Dance is award-winning theatre that matters. We are celebrating Sam Simon's 75th birthday with a campaign to raise funds to take the show to the next level. Funds will be used to:

Complete and publish the book version of The Actual Dance. (signed copy guaranteed)
Create video offerings of the show for audiences world-wide with distinct versions with:
- Chuck Obasi, a talented Actor with a distinctive story of his own love and loss, with script adapted for just his experience.
- Sam Webb, a world renown tap dancer who brings unique movement and spirit to a universal journey.
Launch of the LoveCafe© movement – creating a network of conversations and engagements around these existential moments we all experience, modeled from the caregiver world, hospice world and faith traditions. These are the most important conversations anyone can have.

The Actual Dance transforms those who see it. After the DC Black Theatre and Arts Festival performance, an attendee, Alicia approached Sam and said, "You need to know that I am leaving tonight a different person than when I came. Thank you."
