Yay! The Budget just got Better!

Our fund-raising goal has lowered to $38,000!


We're beyond happy to share we found a venue that is not only PERFECT for this project happening inside NYFW at Spring Studio's Spring Place, it costs much less than originally anticipated. The former budget was $55,000 for a venue near NYFW, our new budget is $38,000 INSIDE the location of NYFW!! (How great is that?!)

While CR Rousseau is busy creating her signature abstract art works with vibrant, emotional color, we're working hard to make sure this show is a success. We can't wait to share her work with you!

Who am I? 
I am an artist with a vision, painting cultural reflections through abstract art. 

Why am I doing this? 
Love. I'm taking inspiration from fashion I've loved & reflecting that inspiration through beautiful abstract paintings on canvas.

What is this exactly?
It's an amazing abstract art exhibit celebrating style during NYFW (New York Fashion Week). With your support, we're creating an art-meets-fashion moment that hasn't been been done before. You'll be invited to personally attend the opening of "The Art of Couture: Interpreting Fashion Through Abstract Art" in New York during NYFW! And the exhibit will also be available virtually so you can see the art from wherever you are in the world.

Right now, I'm in the studio creating vibrant, fashion-inspired abstract paintings inspired by fashion moments we love for this event.

What is the financial goal?
We're working to raise $38,000. 
We've located a venue that is everything we hoped for & significantly less than we budgeted for (the original budget was $55K).

What happens if we don't make our financial goal?
We don't want to think about it, but if we don't make our goal for this exhibit, we'll dust ourselves off & move "The Art of Couture" to February 2024 & start fundraising.
