We are The Hearty Meal Theater Company, an artist led group bridging the gap between classic musical theater fans and the new generation falling in love with the artform online. We create live person productions in New York and make shows available to audiences across the world. The shows we create are fun and fantastical, but as producers we're grounded in reality. Your donation will help us pay all the amazing artists who make our shows come to life, as well as for production costs like rehearsal space and props. We're planning on raising 5,000 to support three new musicals.

Projects we have in the pipeline include:

A concert production of Asbestos Rocks, an industrial Northern English fable about a group of townspeople who have to band together to save their village's beloved asbestos mining industry.

Romulus/Remus, an intimate adaptation of the myth of the founders of Rome with a cast of two. 

A satire of made for tv holiday rom-coms.

We're aiming to get these shows on their feet in NYC in 2026. 
With this fundraising project, we know we'll have enough funding to make these productions happen. 

Due to the scrappy nature of our shows, even a small donation to us goes a long towards making our productions possible. In addition to our New York productions, we also post shows for free online. This year we released The Pretty Good Gatsby musical on Youtube for anyone to enjoy.
