The Singing Tree Institute

In 2013 Musician, Dancer and Environmentalist Lis Addison established The Singing Tree Institute with David Mutinda of Kitui, Kenya. They have since planted 7,000 trees in Kambaland, a rural area of Kenya and home to the Kamba people. Their mission is to help reforest the region, plant food forests for the local people who are mostly subsistence farmers and document traditional Kamba songs and dances for future generations. Your funds will be spent on seedlings, water and recording songs.
