TWN gathered in Aug. 2019 as a group of artists thinking about an immersive production of Chekhov’s Three Sisters. In 2021, we reread the play. It felt…different! We were different and wanted to reimagine the play during COVID lockdown. We announced a staged reading of Conversations in Exile three weeks before. Theatrical productions go up with three weeks of rehearsal, and we all long to give our bosses three weeks’ notice to quit and make theater 24/7. Three Weeks Notice Collective was born.
