Dear Friends and Family,
We are raising money to advance “Trust Me. Trust Me Not”, a show about the process of building trust and the risk of losing it.
“Trust me. Trust me not” is the result of movement research about connection in partnered improvisations across different dance styles. Working collaboratively, our international group has created a show that explores the importance of trust as a source of meaning and growth.
Our troupe consists of Obie Award winner director Orlando Pabotoy, and 2019 USA Tango Champion Orlando Reyes, former Ballet Hispanico principal Rodney Hamilton and ACE and HOLA award winner choreographer Valeria Solomonoff, as dancers and co-choreographers. We are working to develop original music for the show and incorporate the collective experience resulted from the pandemic in relation to trust and the restrain in touch, interconnection and proximity. With your help we hope to complete our project and share it with a broad audience.
Our goal is to raise $9,000 and we are half way there!!
Every bit of support is greatly appreciated!
