JB Theatricals is seeking tax-deductible donations to produce the U.S. premiere of UNSEX'd by Jay Whitehead and Daniel Judes.
Five performances only at the Little Shakespeare Festival in NYC.
THE SHOW
UNSEX'd takes us back to a reimagined Elizabethan London, in a time where men played women's roles on stage. Wilburn Hussey, a seasoned performer known for originating all of Shakespeare's great women, and Humphrey Hughes, his fresh-faced and handsome apprentice who's turning heads and stealing parts. As they two go head-to-head for the coveted role of Lady Macbeth, ambition turns cut-throat and rivalries heat up. UNSEX’D is a darkly comic, delightfully queer backstage battle full of wigs, wit, and just a touch of witchcraft.
THE ASK
Producing theatre in NYC ain't cheap and we need $7000 to make this show the best it can be.
Your tax-deductible donation helps us cover crucial costs ranging from rehearsal venue rental to costume and props purchases, and, most importantly, paying every artist involved with the production.
No donation is too small and everyone who donates will be mentioned in the program, on our website, and on our social media pages.
