WHAT IS THIS?!
Untied: An American Story is a narrative fiction podcast brought to you by Asterism Theatre Company. Join us at St. Dymphna's (Bay Ridge Brooklyn's Oldest Irish Pub) on election night 2016 to hear the results roll in and wonder about what the future brings. Pull up a stool and grab a drink with MC and Joey (aunt and nephew and the owners of St. Dymphna's) and their patrons as they discuss their worries and wishes.
WHY ARE WE CREATING THIS?
Whether you voted for Trump or Clinton, Johnson or Stein, or abstained from voting, whatever the reason, we all felt something on Election Night 2016. We all felt the collective shift in this Republic of ours. We at Asterism Theatre Company felt the need to create. In the days and weeks after, Christie and Trey came together with a team of volunteers to interview individuals across the political spectrum. After compiling these interviews, they teamed up with Anne Phelan to create this 10-episode podcast to weave together these stories.
WHO ARE WE?

WHY WE NEED YOU
Creativity doesn't happen in a vacuum. There are so many moving parts (writing, directing, producing, designing audio, designing visuals, acting) when creating something from scratch. We believe that if you give of yourself to create, you should get something back. Even a modest sum.
In order to bring this story to life, we need your help. Become a patron today and help us pay our talented actors and creative team as well as book studios to rehearse and record. We also need materials (microphones being a major part) to make this all sound and feel like a pub in your ears.
Your donation will help us with all of that: paying our talented actors and designers, purchasing materials, renting space, and much more.
