Description: Ven follows Malachi, a young man who is struggling to navigate a world that has been shattered by the loss of his wife, Ven. Desperate to hold onto her, he turns to Pyre—a powerful hallucinogen that lets him relive his memories. But with each trip, his line between drug induced mirage and reality begins to blur.

Mission: God has given humanity stories and the ability to feel emotion for the same reason he gave us rationality. They both point back to him. Emotion is one of the key inciters of faith, and a true, good, and beautiful story triggers it in a way that causes us to live out a simulation of what the gospel feels like. Stories capture a sliver of the beauty of God’s creation. They give us a taste of God’s goodness, and they hand us God-breathed truth. Our goal at Tulip and Thorne is to serve Christ by pulling on the heartstrings of our audience through true, good, and beautiful stories so that we might be a stepping stone in our audience’s pursuit of redemption. Our goal with Ven specifically is to criticize the escapism of our modern world and to dive into what it means to grieve. We want to confront our audiences the question," How do we love the dead without letting them destroy the living?" and challenge them to find the answer not only in Ven but also in God's Creation.

Additional Ways to Support: This is our merchandise STORE; all proceeds will go towards the funding of Ven.
