I am creating a dance theatre piece called "Watch This!" which aims to unpack the experience of viewing other people's bodies while also being seen in your body. It specifically strives to honor and represent queer, gender queer, and female bodied people, and will uplift LGBTQ+ voices in process and presentation. The work is comedic and theatrical in nature, and lends itself to digestible story-telling that invites wide-ranging audiences to share in the joy, the intimacy, the awkwardness, the tenderness, the celebration, the laughter, and the furthering of the dialogue surrounding queer bodies.
