The Yellow Wallpaper
Adapted by Caitlin Morley and Susannah Millonzi from Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s classic short story.
We need your support to bring this groundbreaking new adaptation to life.
This project is the culmination of five years of brainstorming, experimenting, and workshopping Gilman’s widely beloved literary work for the stage. The result is a one-woman show performed by Susannah Millonzi. Though first published in 1892, the story feels strikingly urgent today. And what makes this even more extraordinary: we are the first and only company to adapt The Yellow Wallpaper in this way, bringing a wholly original vision of Gilman’s classic to life.
The Yellow Wallpaper will have two preview performances at the Philipstown Depot Theater in Garrison, NY, on October 10th and 11th. These early showings are designed to gather audience feedback and help shape the future of the piece. Our vision is to bring the production to New York City, but we need your help to make that possible.
Your gift will ensure our artists are compensated fairly and that this one-of-a-kind work has the intimate, experimental space it deserves. By donating, you’re not just supporting theatre—you’re championing women artists and helping bring a powerful story to life.
