When The Mind's Free

One family's journey through Alzheimer's, addiction, and finding levity in our hardest times.

When The Mind's Free

Responding to an urgent need for media representation of those with Alzheimer's and their caregivers, our new dance-theatre production When The Mind's Free lifts story and ideas from King Lear and follows a contemporary lesbian couple and their family navigating the Alzheimer's of their matriarch and the addiction of their youngest daughter. Can we bring levity and light into our darkest hours?
