YOU HAVE FOUND THE FUND-RAISING PAGE FOR THE MUSICAL, A SYMPHONY FOR PORTLAND
A Symphony for Portlandis a fictional story, with original music that ranges from upbeat belts to heavenly choral singing. Come hear this contemporary story of how one day a homeless teenager, Jordan, decides to take on a local sex trafficker, Jesse, when he sees him target his next victim, a young woman named Starr. With humor, laughter and a few tears, the audience will find themselves drawn into Jordan’s makeshift family of other homeless friends, where the hard realities of homelessness, LGBTQ+ intolerance, sex trafficking and grief are no match for the emotional strength of faith, family and forgiveness. It’s all about making a decision to change. And as any homeless young adult can tell you, a little change can go a long way.
