We perform comedy shows and teach classes at different venues around the Atlanta metro area. We are searching for a performance venue to become our base of operations and a "third place" for creatives to learn, perform, and grow together.
We offer classes in improv, sketch comedy, and video production. We firmly believe in improv's benefits for all walks of life. We've seen the benefits of improv training first-hand with actors, writers, producers, and directors. Outside of the performing arts, our improv training has helped people with communication skills, active listening, confidence, team building, conflict resolutions, lowering social anxiety, and much more! We strongly believe that improv training of any kind is beneficial to everyone.
Since the pandemic, many smaller comedy venues in the Atlanta area have closed. With the spaces gone, the comedy community has become fragmented. Comedy shows are relegated to the backs of bars and breweries. We will create the missing "third place" for the creative community.
Action Show Theatre aims to provide consistent comedy performances, quality educational programming, and a "third place" for our creative community to learn, perform, and grow together.
