aile Music & Hope Project is a heartfelt music initiative by Japanese singer-songwriter aile (Ayaka Totsuka), based in Los Angeles. Through her original songs and live performances, she shares messages of hope, peace, and healing inspired by her own experience as a breast cancer survivor.
After her major debut with BMG Japan, aile moved to the U.S. to explore gospel, jazz, and soul influences. Following years of motherhood and cancer treatment, she returned to the stage in 2022 and has since performed at major cultural and community events — including the Rising Japan Music Festival, Cedars-Sinai Beverly Hills AAPI Heritage Event, and Nihon Matsuri in Utah.
In 2024, her song “Inochi wo Kasanete (Layers of Life)”, written for an ALS patient and his mother, was chosen as the official theme song for Japan Film Festival Los Angeles 2025, symbolizing her mission to connect people across cultures through music.
Donations to this project support aile’s community concerts, recording projects, and outreach performances that uplift hearts, celebrate resilience, and promote peace through the power of music.
