About

aile Music & Hope Project is a mission-driven initiative by Japanese singer-songwriter aile (Ayaka Totsuka), based in Los Angeles. Through her original music and heartfelt performances, aile brings messages of hope, peace, and emotional healing—deeply inspired by her experience as a stage-3 breast cancer survivor and a mother.

After her major debut with BMG Japan, aile moved to the U.S. to explore gospel, jazz, and soul music. Following years dedicated to motherhood and cancer treatment, she returned to the stage in 2022 with a renewed purpose:

to use music not for profit, but to uplift people who are fighting illness, facing hardship, or searching for hope.

Since then, she has performed at major cultural events including the Rising Japan Music Festival, Cedars-Sinai Beverly Hills AAPI Heritage Celebration, and Utah’s Nihon Matsuri. In 2024, her song “Inochi wo Kasanete (Layers of Life)”—written for a young ALS patient and his mother—was selected as the official theme song for Japan Film Festival Los Angeles 2025, further expanding her message of compassion across cultures.

Donations to this project directly support:

  • Community concerts that bring comfort and encouragement

  • Performances at cultural, nonprofit, and hospital events

  • Recording and production of original songs with meaningful social impact

  • Outreach programs that promote peace, resilience, and cross-cultural connection through music

Your support helps aile continue sharing hope, healing, and love with communities in the U.S., Japan, and beyond.
