Allinone is an organization that provides space and unique programs for communities, creatives, and social impact initiatives to strengthen and build. We specifically re-purpose vacant historical properties for community use.
We are nearing the completion of a 4-year 30,000 sq-ft historic church renovation that we are launching as a community center and events space in Flatbush, Brooklyn. We want that center to be owned by the local community and are fundraising to conduct a feasibility study for the installment of a Community Investment Trust. Community Investment Trusts (CITs) allow for fractionalized ownership of the property by unaccredited investors, allowing all members in the community to participate and own a piece of the property, benefiting from its returns. It is loss-less protected, making it a much more stable approach to investing for individuals and families than crowdfunding or any other investment vehicle.
We are seeking $50,000 in funding to support our participation in the Community Investment Trust (CIT) Feasibility Study, a critical step toward implementing a shared ownership model at the church.
In addition to the CIT technical assistance, we are seeking funding in the amount of $40,000 to support our internal capacity, including staff time and community engagement efforts throughout the 6–9 month feasibility process. We estimate a need for approximately 300 hours of internal staff time, depending on the pace of property identification and the depth of technical planning required.
We would welcome your support to help us advance shared ownership and economic inclusion in our community center. This is the final piece of the church project leading up to its launch next year in 2026.
