Third in a cycle of films engaging abolitionist visions and histories through the lens of prison closures, “And Water Brings Tomorrow” focuses on the closing and repurposing of prisons after decades of abolitionist organizing, community-making and historical reckoning. Artist Ashley Hunt built a great team of artists to help with its production and plan a grassroots tour for the film.
