About

ArchForKids provides "hands on, minds on" learning experiences grounded in architecture and design. We work in schools, libraries, community organizations and cultural centers in the New York metro region. Recent partnerships have included the High Line, the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian and Queens Library. ArchForKids also provides virtual workshops for worldwide audiences.

As young designers create parks and dream houses and construct skyscrapers and sustainable cities, they apply academic concepts to real world situations. In addition, they gain a deeper understanding – and appreciation – of their own communities and the wider world. Our programs encourage students to become critical thinkers, creative makers and lifelong learners.

ArchForKids is committed to partnering with high-needs schools and community organizations, bringing our work to underserved youth. Your tax deductible contribution will support our  mission!

ArchForKids is a women and minority owned organization.
