ART PARTY

ART PARTY offers quarterly micro-residencies to multi-disciplinary artists and produces an annual outdoor festival of site-responsive work.

Residencies:
We support artists from across disciplines through no-cost micro-residencies utilizing a nomination system which provide opportunities for artists to connect, experiment, refine, and be fed without an expectation of producing. Through light facilitation and shared meals, artists have the space and structure to both rest and create. Some artists choose to use this time to experiment beyond their expertise, others deepen their own craft, and many build new collaborative partnerships organically. Past residencies have featured readings, workshops, performances, and installations activating the natural environment. Artists leave nourished, rested, inspired, and connected to a broader community. 

Festival:
This annual outdoor festival of multi-disciplinary and site-responsive work features artists from past residencies and is produced over one summer weekend for an audience of 150. With programming that spans 24-hours, attendees have the chance to encounter site-responsive installations, performances, workshops, readings, and interactive art while also having the chance to explore the forest, trails, creek, and meadow. Featuring a shared meal for artists and attendees alike, everyone is encouraged to connect. Attendees have the opportunity to camp on site, locally, or come just for the day. All leave encountering new artists and innovative work, set against the backdrop of an inspiring natural environment.
