Jazz doesn't necessarily explain itself to 21st Century listeners. Jazz 101 helps new and old listeners to understand and appreciate the finer points of the art form, through a constant examination of the best examples. By teaching this course and (Jazz 201), Jazz at Atlas is leading the way toward making this teaching available for free to all comers.
