Attacca School of Music is a community-centered music school in Belmont, Massachusetts dedicated to serious musical study taught with care. We believe that high-quality music education should be both rigorous and deeply human rooted in strong musicianship, meaningful relationships, and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
We serve over 200 students of all ages through private lessons across piano, bowed strings, plucked strings, woodwinds, and voice, group classes, youth and adult chamber music programs, music theory, early childhood musicianship, and immersive summer programs. Our highly trained faculty are active performers and educators who meet each student where they are, offering thoughtful, personalized instruction that builds technical skill, confidence, creativity, and artistic independence.
At Attacca, music is not just about learning notes, it’s about developing focus, collaboration, expression, and resilience. Whether a student is taking their first lesson or preparing for advanced study, we strive to create a welcoming environment where every musician feels supported and inspired to grow.
The creation of our Attacca Scholarship & Opportunity Fund will directly supports students through private lesson scholarships based on both need and dedication, assist participation in ensemble and academic programs such as chamber music and theory, and support advanced opportunities including summer festivals, workshops, and competitions, and free access for all families to our Visiting Artist Series masterclasses and concert series!
Through this fund, generous community support helps expand access, deepen musical growth, and strengthen the vibrant musical community at Attacca, empowering every musician to pursue their passion with both excellence and care.
