Attic Opera identifies, edits, and performs excellent opera, art song, and sacred music that has long been neglected. We scour our founders' extensive collection of music as well as the growing body of music that is available in online libraries and digital repositories to find, restore, and research the history of important music that has been lost to memory.We do so for the entertainment, education, and cultural enrichment of the public. Our performances offer opportunities for both emerging and established singers with opportunities to expand their repertoire and to build roles from the ground up, mostly free from the influence of established performance practices and recordings.
