Now raising funds to produce Robert Leverett's new comedy We Do the Same Thing Every Week, directed by Liza Couser and produced by Kerrigan Quenemoen. We Do the Same Thing Every Week will be presented at A.R.T./NY’s Gural Theater in May 2025.
About We Do the Same Thing Every Week
Dick and Jane are bored on a rainy Sunday afternoon. A six-foot tall cat shows up, and hijinks ensue. Later, elsewhere, Dick and Jane are bored on a rainy Sunday afternoon. A six-foot tall cat shows up, and hijinks ensue. Everywhere, space is a false vacuum waiting to decay. Try not to think about it while your boredom gnaws away at you. We Do the Same Thing Every Week is a one-act comedy about repetition, boredom, and the delicious, refreshing taste of Coca-Cola®.

About Attractive Nuisance
Attractive Nuisance is a production company focused on ambitious, ensemble-based new comedies. We experiment with form, music, movement, and puppetry to make surreal, genre-bending works for the stage.
In the Spring of 2021, we founded and produced the inaugural PRIMETIME THEATER FESTIVAL, a six-week theatrical event which culminated in a series of funny, fast-paced new plays in the style of classic multi-cam sitcoms, complete with commissioned commercial parodies and theme music. PRIMETIME THEATER helped to support over 30 early-career playwrights, directors, actors, and comedians in the creation of two original sitcom series.
In December 2022, we debuted the surrealist ensemble comedy MEAT with a two-weekend workshop production at The Tank. In the summer of 2023, we workshopped TRACY TRICERATOPS AND THE END OF HISTORY, a child-detective neo-noir musical, through a weeklong residency at Vox Lab in Hanover, NH. In 2024, we were awarded a four month residency at Prototype 237 in Paterson, NJ. This residency culminated in a workshop production of Robert’s new promenade-style comedy KATIE LAID AN EGGY in November of 2024.
