Autocorrect is a sharp psychological satire designed to externalize the exhausting emotional and mental tax of code-switching and forced assimilation. By using magical realism to physically distort a man's wardrobe and reality whenever his name is mispronounced, the film forces the audience to confront how elite spaces actively project their own biases and stereotypes onto minority professionals. Ultimately, the project is intended to spark urgent conversations around the daily survival mechanisms used to navigate corporate culture, and the steep cost of losing oneself just to fit in.
