Alex Prezzano is a New York City-based songwriter, guitarist, performer, and music educator creating original music rooted in folk, rock, singer-songwriter traditions, fingerstyle and classical guitar, and atmospheric sound.
After more than a decade of performing, touring, collaborating, music directing, and teaching, Alex is preparing to release his debut album, Awake From The Dream, produced by Grammy-winning producer Malcolm Burn.
The project brings together Alex’s work as an artist and educator through original recordings, live performances, visual media, audience engagement, and opportunities to share the creative process behind songwriting, recording, and performance.
Support for the project helps fund the public presentation of new original music through videos, live performances, publicity and audience outreach, while also creating opportunities for educational and community engagement around songwriting, music production, and performance.
