Bad Hair Day on Planet Earth is one woman’s journey through eating disorders, mental illness and addiction, documented contemporaneously through journaling, creative writing, recording and visual arts. Over two decade’s worth of raw, source materials have been curated into an artistic book, which provides a unique perspective into mental illness and recovery told in real time. Bad Hair Day is a collection of artistic forms of expression used while moving towards healing. It will serve as a conduit; a door through which communities centered on wellness will form.
