The Nuyorican Transcendence is an event that embraces the soul of Afro-Taino by paying homage to roots of the Puerto Rican culture and heritage. This event is a platform for the Nuyorican of the present day to be propelled into future by creating completely new art and music inspired by the spirit and vigor of the ancestors and the elders, recognizing the foundation built by the pioneers who help to create Spoken Word, Hip Hop, Latin Jazz and Salsa.
