“Because of You,” is a short film by NYU senior Michelle Andia. The story follows a driven Colombian high school student as she prepares for her high-stakes campaign speech in the race for class president. When her cousin, the new kid, is unfairly framed and sent to the principal’s office, she faces a difficult decision: stand by her family or, for once, put herself first.
