We will revive this remarkable play in lower Manhattan (close to where the fictional play is set) and share the late Bowne's masterpiece with variety of folks. We will probably get many people that have never heard of the play and we will also have audience that could have been contemporaries with Bowne. We will have young folks that have zero connection to the AIDS crisis and we will have folks that may feel that the tragedy was just yesterday. We hope our production honors Bowne's brief yet powerful life. We hope that it breaths connection and healing into the community that comes to witness it.
