"Between Us" is a grounded, Buffalo-set feature film about a young woman who forms an unlikely bond with an elderly resident at her father’s assisted living home. Inspired by real-life experiences, the film explores grief, mental health, and identity through the lens of intergenerational friendship. Our goal is to create an emotionally honest, visually intimate film that sparks conversation, connection, and compassion for both ourselves and the people we often overlook.
