In 2024, our play E.G.G. won the BroadwayWorld Award for Best New Play (Off-Off-Broadway). It's now published, and it started with a small company and a very tight budget.

Between Us Theatre Co. is a New York City nonprofit theatre company dedicated to stories too often left untold, centered on immigrant and LGBTQ+ perspectives. In four years we've produced ten shows on New York's indie stages, including The Tank and The Chain. Every production has sold out or come close, and every one has employed immigrant artists. We've also helped multiple artists with their artistic visas. We're lean and dedicated, and we're proof that bold, award-winning theatre doesn't require a massive budget. It requires conviction.

Santa Is an A$$#OL& was written as a celebration of trans, queer, and neurodivergent characters. Comedy lowers defenses and lets people lean into ideas they might otherwise resist, so it felt like the right vehicle. What began as a French play we took apart and rebuilt is now entirely its own: a love letter to trans joy, the working class, and beating capitalism at its own game. Set at a crisis hotline on Christmas Eve, it turns into a celebration of life, love, and chosen family.

Last year's staged reading at The Tank played to a near-capacity house, and our original cast is eager to return. Now it's a full production, six performances, December 2–22.

Thank you for being here. Every gift, at every level, goes directly into putting this show on the stage. Between Us is a small company, so your support is felt in every rehearsal and every performance. Back us today, and you're the friend this hotline needed.
