Beyond the Frame

Beyond the Frame is an original musical exploration of the muses and models of painter Édouard Manet, told through the song and story of Kristen Lee Sergeant.
As a concept album, the recording will serve as its own complete artistic statement that explores what it means to be a muse, an artist, and a woman in Manet's world and our own.
As a staged production, Beyond brings the audience in deeper communion with Manet's work, Kristen's story, and the music that they both inspire.
