Bidi Dworkin Music

"Art of the Duo" is an evolving musical project of original compositions.  Bidi Dworkin is the lyricist and composer. Lyrically invested in stories that swan dive into the mysteries that rest beneath the surface, Bidi's songs explore numinous possibilities by unveiling the unconscious and reactivating dreamscapes that are expressed through poetic storytelling modes and melodic atypical forms. 
Here are a few words from Peter about "Art of the Duo":
"It’s been a rewarding journey, helping Bidi in the creation of her new all-original project. The music she’s been writing of late has equal amounts of light and dark, whimsy and reflection, each song evolving into what’s starting to feel like a set of jazz 'art songs’. The stripped down intimacy of just voice and piano also help with this ‘art song’ aspect. I look forward to the next batch of ideas she has cooked up and the directions we can take them."
Peter Eldridge is collaborating in all his masterful ways ~ as accompanist and arranger.
He has been described as "a superb musical alchemist, synthesizing modern jazz with not only pop but also R&B and Latin music." 
This original duo project is ripe with possibility. Our creative chemistry is a given!
How your contributions will serve the project:
Once Bidi's compositions are complete, she and Peter will fine tune.the project, then head into the studio to record the album. As you may be aware, the recording process requires a substantial investment - artistic as well as financial. Expenses include multiple days of recording studio rental with engineer, accompanist(s) and producer,  followed by mixing, mastering, art work, publicity, videos, as well as live performances.
