Big Score, based out of Brooklyn, NY, stands by three principles:
1) Writers deserve to be paid decently for their work.
2) Issue selections ought be made without mind to a writer's platform, which is why our editors evaluate submissions with author name removed.
3) Lit mags are best when you can hold them in your hands; we give serious consideration to the flow of each of our ~75 page issues (one every Spring and Fall), so that each may be read, theoretically, in one sitting.
Our covers will always feature work by a contemporary painter, and every issue is a numbered edition.
