Black Lotus Order is an anime inspired multimedia project told through manga and animation, centering fully realized African American characters and the cultural traditions of the African diaspora. It intends to create original stories for a community that grew up loving anime and rarely saw itself represented, and to share that work publicly so those audiences can finally see themselves at the center of the story.
