Our collective work seeks to transform inequitable design processes and dominant health cultures determining what care looks like by shaping the future of Black womxn’s health and healing through creative, community-led practices. We lift up our inherent value, ingenuity and design leadership and recognize our unique healing histories and creative power as worthy, essential elements to building the conditions necessary to flourish.
Working with and in communities, our core offerings + experiences include:
Flourishing Futures: A visionary gathering space where imaginaries come together to collectively dream, define, prototype and share what will be necessary for Black womxn to be well.
Rooted Research + Co-Design Studio: A collaborative research and community-led design studio experience working with people, groups and movements to creatively respond to injustices impacting the wellbeing of Black womxn.
Design for the Wellbeing of Black Womxn: A cohort experience where Black womxn explore holistic, healing-centric practices and cultivate their creative capacity to build and implement tools for resilience, collective care and transformation in their lives and within their communities.
