Blackness in Boston is an interactive, family-friendly look at Boston's history through the lens of American Descendants of Slavery. We make hats, learn and sing "Yankee Doodle Dandy", and engage in exercises meant to shift perspective, develop empathy, and facilitate difficult subjects, like slavery, in a safe environment. This enchanting workshop is free to the public and appropriate for all ages.
