At a time when New York City is becoming increasingly unaffordable, Bodegueros is a reminder that the city's greatest asset is not its buildings—it is its people, its neighborhoods, and the culture they create together. You can't have a New York City without New Yorkers. Our goal is not only to tell that story, but to use the project as a platform to celebrate, amplify, and give back to the communities that make the city what it is. ESO is bringing BODEGUEROS to life on stage for the first time at A.R.T. New York’s Mezzanine Theater, opening in the Fall of 2027. The run will span 30 shows with a possible extension, including a targeted and curated set of pop-ups around NYC. There will be merch drops, dominoes tournaments, and exclusive parties all leading up to BODEGUEROS first curtain call.
