Border Fashion Week (BFW) is the only binational fashion event in the world held directly at the U.S.–Mexico border wall, turning a global symbol of separation into a powerful space for unity, creativity, and cultural celebration. Founded by Domingo Toledo in honor of his mother, a breast cancer survivor, BFW is more than a fashion show—it’s a movement. Since 2012, we have used the universal language of fashion to bring together communities, foster cross-border cooperation, and showcase the transformative power of art.
Held annually in Ambos Nogales (Arizona & Sonora), this 3-day cultural festival features visual and plastic arts exhibitions, musical performances, dance, live performance art, film screenings, conferences, and workshops. Each edition raises funds for breast cancer awareness and support organizations, aligning fashion with purpose. It all concludes with our grand finale: the first and only binational fashion show on the border wall between Mexico and the United States—a powerful statement of unity through art and style.
