Brooklyn Players Community Musical Theater started in the fall of 2010 by a group of performing artists/educators. They wanted to bring the same sensibility and opportunity to perform and grow to adults of all ages as they bring to young people throughout the year. Noticing how little community musical theater exists in New York City, they wanted to form an inclusive, non-competitive and supportive community that would bring fun, accessible and artistically integrous musical theater to the local community.
