Our Current Project
The Spark is a short film about a PR agent who gets assigned the book launch for a Tantra expert and has to figure out what she really wants.
While the film got a lot of buzz during our initial crowdfunding campaign for pushing boundaries in how I’m talking about sex and pleasure, ultimately The Spark is about so much more than that.
It’s about learning to connect with what you want and leaning into your authenticity as a woman. Even if that means leaving your marriage.
The Spark is rom-com coming of age proof of concept for a feature film, which follows Lily as she goes deeper into her exploration of Tantra and begins achieving the success she always dreamed of in PR as well.
We finished shooting the short last July and have made significant progress in post-production, clarifying the tone and the sonic world of the film. We recently augmented our post-production team and are very excited about the new turn that the project is taking.
Our Seed & Spark crowdfunding campaign last year raised over $10K including a Patron’s Circle Grant from Jason Reitman. We were also recognized as a Semi-Finalist for PANO Microgrants Round 5.
Last year’s campaign covered our production costs, including paying our all female and non-binary cast and crew. Now we are raising an additional $5K for post-production, marketing and film festival fees.
Check out our amazing perks and help us reach our goal by December 4th, 2025!
Thank you so much for your support!
