The Spark follows thirtysomething PR Associate Lily as she gets assigned the book launch for “A Good Girl’s Guide to Tantra”. While navigating her own embarrassment and discomfort with sex, she has a huge wakeup call: she’s not actively creating her life, she’s just letting it happen to her. Will she be able to reconnect with her desire and go after what she really wants?

I created this film because while going through a divorce, I realized I had become deeply disconnected from experiencing pleasure. The more in touch I became with my own sexuality, the more creative I was, and the more confident I became going after the things that I’m passionate about.
 

Writing The Spark was a huge part of my personal transformation during this time of my life.  And by sharing this film, I hope to empower other women to step out of their comfort zone and into their truth. And to fully explore their own pleasure and sexuality too.

We shot the film in July 2024 with an all female /non-binary crew and creative team and are now in post-production with this incredible all  female bicoastal team.

We aim to finish the film and begin submitting to film festivals by the end of the year.

We are currently raising $3000 to finish the film. Your contribution will help us fully cover post-production costs and festival submission fees and get this film out in the world.
