BUDDY BOY is a live-action narrative film with original animation about an unseen Black voice actor in her 40s whose work on a beloved cartoon capybara forces her to take drastic measures to reclaim her identity. The film will screen at festivals and in partnership with universities, arts nonprofits, and advocacy groups, sparking public conversations about race, gender, creative labor, the use of AI in creativity, and who gets seen and credited for the stories that shape our culture.
