At Firefly Glass, our work is rooted in the intersection of artmaking, community, and healing. We are both a professional glassblowing hot shop and an expressive arts therapy studio that uses the transformative nature of glass to support emotional, psychological, and creative growth. In 2026 Firefly Glass is growing our creative community and expanding its internships and workshops to provide sliding-scale hot glass and fused glass workshops; while renewing our current studio with safer, more responsive equipment. We are introducing a new fused glass-gaffer role and ensuring our facilitators are sustainably supported as they guide others and steward our equipment. With the launch of the new fused glass program, we aim to open more doors for expression, inviting a wider range of voices and visions into the art of glass and expressive arts therapies.
